Okay this is my favorite of your Tanka writes so far. I love the irony that is found in the last two lines. Although it's worse than traditional English Tanka, it truly hold the spirit of the art.
I'm glad you have branched out into this form. And I like what you are doing with it. Keep out Hanny in your repertoire.
You have become a much better writer in this.past year. Have you gone back lately to compare the old with the new?

I am reviewing and reformating some of them. Mostly removing needless words. Sometimes just the structure. Make it look more appealing, but yes I have gotten comfortable doing it regularly. And they I believe have improved.

I do appreciate your patience over the last few months in helping improve. And thank you for your words and review of this and all my work.

Hal, my nemesis. I could never watch 2001, A space odyssey, without the feeling that something was eerily wrong with leaving computers in charge. Those out of date vlinking lights seem all the more menacing to me for their outdated look now. I have never made it through to the end of the film, I mean documentary on our future selves :)

Thanks, Andrew. It is a piece that if you are not familiar, it will leave you scratching your head and going WTF. But the bumper sticker I saw was "HAL2001". It stuck with me and here was my goof.
