Edge of Never Never land

Perceptions

Sometimes in thoughtful

repose just riding a wave,

crus'in along in a surreal world,

appearing rather vacant you see.

I hang way out

on the edge of

never never land,

in the shadows close to the dark,

My return is generally,

in the blink of an eye.

So don't be deceived

by the view, you may see.

No matter words

or actions all

I never lose perspective

And really never go,

Completely out of control!

There are differing versions of Never Never Land. The one of joy, happiness and a bright future. Then there is the darker version which is never to be a place to dwell. When I find the Never Never Land with Peter Pan and the rest, I will stay and play.

The darker version is The Nothing...it was banned in Peter Pan so it moved to Neverending Story.

My madness is always kept within an acceptable level. Some can as I do, somewhat control the madness. Many are not able to do this as their darkness is so deep. Appreciate the visit and kind words.

Great piece on the imaginings of the mind and all the strange places it takes us too. My worst fault is daydreaming. I can go out and mean to do one thing, but end up miles from where I meant to go, just because my mind briefly visited somewhere else and decided to take me with it. I never learn :)

Love this Willard, nicely written and the imagery takes you away daydreaming which I like to do, it beats work anytime!. I have a similar write on that space we lose ourselves in meditation!. Great write Willard

Ah, the perception of the mind from the inside looking out or from the outside looking in? That is the first perception you have to answer to yourself first. Now that should be clearly what I was thinking when I attempted to dissolve the cloud that had formed around my mind as I started to respond to you.
