Forest Nymph

Forest Nymph

A Poem by Willard Wells
"

Just a Dream

"

In the dark of night

my mind turned on bright,

with thoughts of you

my forest nymph.

Slender and tall,

with wings transparent

and light.

Lifting you up to explore the night.

Flitting here and flitting there

your flight so fast

so no one sees,

for my eyes only.

Coming to rest after long night,

reposed on my bed

me holding your head.

As I give gentle kisses to my forest nymph.

My pleasure :)
This poem just rests on me sweetly. I can almost see her there skitting around. Really enjoyed the last stanza especially because it just brings such an image to my head. Like the way this one makes me feel.

The reason we dream is for those moments we glimpse the beauty of our other worldly realm, where those fleeting glimpses of beauty abound.unique to self, though understood by all.
Really well structured. I especially like the gradual feeling of softness and comfort that grows fro the first. Superb.
