Find The Way

Find The Way

A Poem by Willard Wells

I feel emptiness

and pain within my heart.

I cannot explain the reason

or location, but just that

there is an empty place within me.

Sitting in an empty room

not being all alone

even though there is

no one else but me

to view the day and live it as it may be.

Thinking of the past and

hopes of what the future may be,

but I still have emptiness

as I think and wonder

if I really have found the path.

No matter what you think

or what you fear,

your life will unfold

to what it is,

and now it's up to you to find the way.

Greetings to Poet Willard Wells

With wise words painting a psychoanalytical reflective ontologic moment "Find The Way" flows in good rhythm and poetic voice.

I have enjoyed the reading of "Find The Way" for its subject dealt and poetic beauty.

With respect and admiration,

Is my pleasure and you are welcome.
Yes, live is a maze and we have to find our way through it. At certain moments we have to turn, take another road or decide which one of the many possibilities we'll take. Thank you for sharing these thoughts, very inspiring, Willard. :) Rudi

Willard, this sort of struck me in a place of heightened emotion as I've just watched a friend long-term relationship crumble. This described my feeling perfectly. Everyday is going to come and only the person himself can decide how to handle it. It may not be easy but there are still choices and chances
. Great write loved every bit including the flow wrote choice and form.

I really enjoyed your wonderfully written poem from start to finish ... trying to get through all the emotions that at times we can't explain what the reason(s) are but know it does exist ... we can only hope the emptiness will be fulfilled and the pain subsides. We can't do anything about the past but learn from it as we embrace the future a little stronger and definitely wiser ... Great poem, Willard!
