Rose Colored Glasses

Reflection of mind

As I continue to sit

tittering on the

edge of the realm

of my mind.

Pressure still pushing

against the frame

that they say

protects my brain.

My rambling here

will be interpreted

to reflect the view

of some with no real true view.

Fearing not others views,

as long as I

can focus on a life

that's true.

Life will be happily

viewed, from behind

my gold rimmed

rose colored glasses.

Life is what you make it.

Man I think I'd dig those funky glasses, bet E John has a pair! thought perhaps this was gonna be about Rose O'Neill, a fan...
But this was cool Darlin...I like this analogy, putting an altered state pair of groovy gold rims on and getting the view that clears up that manicmind...i am manic depressive and id looove these at times...a great perspective for those with mental health issues. good stuff doll!

And Valentine..I don't think you meant anything by your comment, but the mentally challenged are quite capable of making all kinds of wonderful things possible..I worked with them, they are as capable as you or I, they just go bout in different ways and aspire to different things, they are blessed, we all are by God, just not in the same way. its very inspiring...

Thank you for your kind words and I am many things with in my mind and driven by unknown things that I manage in a relatively safe way. I am lucky in that I sit as I often write on the blades edge, tittering from the light and the dark, the sane and not so sane. But yet sanity is in the eye of the beholder. If you can function with in your own mind, then that is your sanity.

I agree that some have no control. As with myself I to some degree can control my depression, but that has more to do with the rather mild form compared to those that are lost within their own minds. But a large portion of us have the ability to pull ourselves above the pain and suffering that can happen within ones own head.. Remember to chase the light.
