Daylight Savings

Daylight Savings

A Poem by Willard Wells
"

Just an Opinion

"

time change is coming

night into day for safety

but it's just a lie

it not really a choice

an accepted part of life

dictated by law

early summer days

that last late into the night

until stars are bright

then short winter days

and long winter nights enjoyed

snuggled close for warmth

early in spring time

and late in the fall yearly

we all chase the light

You're so right, automn is here and winter is coming. I'm not fond of those seasons, however they make pretty pictures in the nature around us. Well done, Willard. :) Rudi

True, and I long for the change for I used to see beautiful sunsets on the way home from club night. Now we miss seeing them. Valentine
