Nightly Thanks

When I say my nightly prayers,

thanking my lord

for this and every day.

Asking for forgiveness,

strength to make

it through each day.

Give me strength,

help the human race

to create a better world.

My final words

of thanks to God,

allowing me to be with you 

which makes my life complete.

Well Rudi you are spot on. My belief is that we as humans have lost our humanity, assuming we ever had it. It is said we are evolving, but it appears with are losing compassion for our human man as we "evolve". Thanks for the comment and visit.

There have to be smarter people out there to take charge. Fighting over a piece of dirt that has been there for millions of years and will be there millions of years after we are gone, but we still fight over a piece of dirt. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
