Like the analogy of water and the marble. They're both a bit fluid and swirl with color that varies in sunlight. Great description and a well-written haiku! Jan

Everything is going fine. Second surgery is taking more time for recovery. Back at school last week with students this week, and it was a bit chaotic, but we are starting to get into the new routine. I haven't been getting to read request much just because my head is so full of activities that making intelligent comments has been beyond me. I'll get it together soon.

I like how you used the word marble to describe the color of the ocean. That is a really good word selection. I remember playing marbles as a kid and I know exactly what you are talking about. Some actually looked like water with the contrasting colors.
