Final Curtain (Senryu)

Final Curtain (Senryu)

A Poem by Willard Wells
"

Final time

"
 Final Curtain

as final light fades
life is viewed as it has passed
no lies or regrets

final curtain call
closing out past and future
moments that are not

ones you left behind
cleaning the mess you left can
only shake their heads

You did very well with this style of poetry. I just am not very good at it. Nice flowing write. Valentine

Thank you for your kind words, but I am not good at it either, just lucky.
No regrets, love that. There are times when I wish I could have done something different, but having a regret is such a waste of time . Well done Willard.

Thank you Robert. No matter what in the end it is what it is. Good or bad. Thanks for the review.read more

the last very powerful...people often look upon the life of others with only wonder...

Thank you for taking time to read my words and comment.
I sure did, I did it; My Way!

and as I close the final curtain
to think I did all that
of which I am certain
oy vey, oy vey, oh yes indeed, I most certainly did, do it My Way!
For what is a man, la, la,la,la,la

Thanks Ray for the roaring approval of departing on you own terms.
