I personally don't think that Mother Nature is behind the decline. The pest-control chems we use on crops have reduced the bees ability to fight their own natural parasites, I feel, based on studies and results online.
This is a good highlighter of a topic that could be a much greater risk to civilisation than even confilct at this time. Kudos Will.

Nature is the center of the Haiku but its form is also stricter.
I don't know a whole lot about bees, but this sounds right to me.
