My Everything

My Everything

A Poem by Willard Wells
"

She is my Life

"

Breathing is labored

Heart races rapidly

Eyes dilated

Lips dry

She makes my heart beat

Lungs fill with air

Every moment without her

Breathing stops with anticipation

Looking to the next moment

That she is near

So I can inhale her scent

And behold her beauty

Longing to hold her

Look into her eyes

      Kiss her lips

     Lay next to her

She is my life
