Pity PartyA Poem by Willard WellsPain like most of life is relative Everyone's normal is A moving target
From the time of small youth I've had pain As a partner in life
I was poked and pinched Electrified and MRI's And a couple of other letter groups
Well after it was All over I waited for some relief
What causes the pain And what can we do To get me relief
Then the word came down Report said fine I have pain Watch it now Well many years later And on my own time All that pain
Has come down to this A conversation topic Or a goofy poem
As I sit reading, typing And medicating Hoping the pain subsides. It's funny in a sick sort of way. © 2016 Willard WellsAuthor's Note
