The EmbraceA Poem by Willard WellsLove in all the wrong places??We arrived at the party but we were not late just fashionable
Start at the bar having some drinks Then mingle, observe like a star
The night grows late As I search for my mate Since it is so late, Ah, then I spy her
She's in an embrace held tight, In the dark of the night he's holding her face
As I step forward To end this embrace She puts up her hand To stop his fate Saying: Hi Hon, meet my brother Nate © 2016 Willard WellsAuthor's Note
