I wrote it this morning for a Haiku contest about fire and feeling it. This is what I came up with. Thank you for reading my work.

This is all followed by 14 days straight of buckets of rainfall.

Actually we wait 40 days and nights and wait for the sewers to back up. I just wrote this this morning of another Haiku contest. Even short of water, if we got 14 days straight we would have flooding since the ground cannot take the water that fast. Thanks for reading.
