SolitudeA Poem by Willard WellsSleeplessSitting alone with my thoughts, Hoping one will slow as it passes. So I can grab hold, seeing where it takes me, on another adventure ride. As this solitude of time expands, the darkness is near. Searching for that single thought I did not know or hear. As it passes by my receptors, in the hallways and compartments, my mind grabs on. Captured thoughts of the past, one of the future too, melted together to view. Future unknown, past errors in thought. I know the answer is clear.
My mind alive as long as I plan my life. Remember, in the blink of an eye, the roll of the dice. It's all over till the next night © 2016 Willard WellsAuthor's Note
