Sheila, this is beautiful indeed!

I love to see the Lord praised publicly, without reservation as you have done here.
Do you belong to a religious group here on the site...I haven't seen any active ones...perhaps I missed it.

I have a collection I call "Chatting With God"...I will be publishing excerpts here soon.

You have indeed "praised the Lord" thank you for that.

Always ! ( :
YOU RAISE ME UP!

My God, Creator, I cry thru the Heavens to you.
My Rock, I walk with you among the morning dew.
My Deliverer, you know my battle with evil wages on.
My Victor, cloak me in honor to ensure battles are won!

My God, Judge, place deeds upon scales to be weighed.
My Teacher, instruct me, show me where I've strayed.
My Comforter, hold me in Your loving arms as I cry.
My Wise Sage, give me answers to questions that defy!

My God, Shepherd, guide Your grazing gentle flock.
My Keeper, tell me truth when I hear others mock.
My Healer, cleanse and heal wounds with Holy tears.
My Lion devour lies holding me locked in night of fears!

My God, Refuge, carry me in loving arms thru each valley.
My Redeemer, bring me out of darkness to light of reality.
My Restorer, release me up from depths of the Earth.
My Salvation, save me from curse of sin begun at birth!

My God, Holy, Righteous, Glorified, Loving Precious Lord,
I believe Your truthful word that Heaven's my final reward!
Let me drink from Heaven's victory cup!
O' My Savior, raise me up!

Psalm 71: 19-21 NIV

Your righteousness reaches to the skies, O God,
You who have done great things,
Who O God, is like you?
Though You have made me see troubles, many and bitter,
You will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth
You will again bring me up
You will increase my honor and comfort me once again!

Hallelujah!

This is beautiful Sheila. I wanted to share this with you." He says He goes to prepare a place for us. This presumably means that He is about to create a whole new nature which will provide the enviroment or conditions for His glorified humanity and in Him, for ours. the picture is not what we expected- though whether it is more probable or philosophical on that account is another question. It is not the picture of escape from any and every kind of nature into some unconditioned and utterly transcendent life. It is the picture of a new human nature and a new nature in general being birthed into existence. We must believe the risen body to be extremely different from the mortal body; but existence in that new state in anything that could be described as a 'body' would involve all sorts of spatial relations; in the long run, a whole new universe. That is the picture-not of unmaking but of remaking. The old field of space, time, matter and the senses must be weeded, dug and replanted for a new crop. We might be tired of the old field: God is not." C.S. Lewis from "Miracles" Blessings.
