The Full Moon Comes Out To Play
A Poem by Sheila Kline
As the crescent moon fades, the full moon appears with a bow to illuminate the playful side of life!

Just having fun with The Man In The Moon, and the knowledge that "strange" things happen in the time of a full moon...........ooooh! smiles!
The Full Moon Comes Out To Play
As a crescent moon wanes and fades,
Heaven ushers moonbeam rays midst full accolades.
A whimsical Man in the Moon comes out to play--
Deciding he is "Tom Foolery" for the day.
His presence is always felt and duly noted.
Meaningless thoughts indicate intellect demoted.
"Crazies" awaken from their lazy dreaming time,
And suddenly walk the earth in syncopated rhyme.
Normal changes intention and dons uniform of rage,
Creating fantasy's glib, moronic, denying correct age.
Ranting, raving, lunatic fits, screams into the wind.
Meaningless utterings reveal mockery akin to a whirlwind.
Thank Heavens above that such time quickly ends.
Crazy acts of lunacy revolve as dreamland descends.
Man sleeps now free from moon's gravitational pull,
Cloak of insanity is shed, now waxed without the bull!
Sheila Bowyer Kline
When a full moon sets his table on earth's surface and starts to play.
All resemblance of reality seems to wane, and slip away
