Love Conquers All!

When we sit and ponder noteworthy events in time,
There is much to question, observe and learn.
I ask myself, when I try to add reason to rhyme,
What actions have been at the top of the list of concern,
To heal a world consumed by hate?
WHAT CONQUERS HATE?

When we read books and poems of the masters’ pen,
There are many expressions we observe.
I wonder as famous passages are studied again,
What words bookmark one to be put on reserve,
To negate ignorance man may equate?
WHAT CONQUERS IGNORANCE?

When we study dreams of visionaries who offer hope,
There are ideas that survive each test.
I ask if results are ignored, can they cope.
What thoughts make goals the best,
To overcome analysis second rate.
WHAT CONQUERS WEAKNESS?

I make note of them all-
The moments we recall,
The passages we read,
The dreams that succeed,

FOR A CONCLUSION I DO NOT HESITATE!

I decide it’s love for each
That has kept all within reach!
Love is the weapon to win,
To allow healing to begin!

I agree with your logic. Love and kindness is the way. If leader's learn to have conversations and tried to seek agreement. Love could have a chance. A world led by fear and separation will not know peace and calm. Thank you for your positive poetry. Give me hope. Love is the way to a better world for all people.
