Bright Morning Star, we offer thanks
For the sun, stars, moon and sky.

Mighty Counselor, we offer thanks
For answers to questions of why!

Bread of Life, we offer thanks
For bounty of food we have to eat.

Great Shepherd, we offer thanks
For place eternal at mercy's seat.

God Almighty, we offer thanks
For love of family, friends so dear.

Alpha and Omega, we offer thanks
For relationships, loyal and sincere.

Blessed Lord, we offer thanks
For liberty to offer praises to you.

El Shaddai, we offer thanks
For salvation with no payment due.

Ancient of Days, we offer thanks
For Jesus, Your precious, Holy son.

King of Kings, we offer thanks
For life over death, eternally won!

Let us be forever thankful for

Love
Answers
Provision
Security
Freedom
Salvation!

A Biblically solid poem/prayer that, no doubt, avails much.
It will not be long, I am convinced, before we actually see Christ in His role as The Lion of Judah. And then, will the destroyers of truth in our midst--the wicked grey men who conspire in high places--know the reality of universal justice!
I, for one, am also thankful for the future fulfillment of that divine promise.

And, it on the promises of God that we have this security! The Lion of Judah shall roar and His voice shall be heard in every valley, and to the highest of mountain tops. All shall bow before Him and sing praises of Thanksgiving for who He is - Ruler of all, The Righteous One, and receive blessings of love and mercy! In Him alone shall universal justice be found!!!

It's a shame, that so many of us forget the real meaning behind the holidays....let us not forget...let us remember our blessings. We need to cut up the credit cards, and put our resentment to the side. Forget...love...and cherish it all.
