Heart Strings - Part 1

A Poem by wuzzle

He tentatively plucked the filament of her heart
Creating a tinny hum below the surface of her resolve
A delicate strand scarcely shivered within
Gently giving way to the seduction of his laughter
She swallowed the deluge of her reticence
And, though she didn’t know the melody,
began strumming an ocean into love
