Ignorant Jokes

When a Great man discovers Ignorant Jokes,

They may Embrace humor wholeheartedly;

When a Common Man hears insipid jokes,

He may choose to Laugh just Sometimes;

When a Mean Man Hears Toddler jokes,

They’ll Frequently Laugh Hysterically!

Whilst those who seldom laugh at all,

Learn nothing about their ignorance!

Therefore it is said:

Who Understands ignorant jokes seems Childish;

Who practices Ignorant Humor falls on his butt.

Whilst Bumbling all about;

In lowly places most disdain;

The finest Copy appears Plain;

The sharpest razors are all Dull;

The Shallowest pond has depths;

The Worthless, Appears Priceless;

The Sublime, merely a Distraction;

The Clearest Truth, Seems opaque;

The Popular Ideal appears Flawed;

The Bravest of Heart appear Meek;

The timid nature appears reckless;

The square perfected has no edge;

Music perfected has no melody;

Love perfected has no climax;

Art perfected has no intent!

Only the ignorant can appreciate their own ignorance:

It transmits sensation and transcends other knowledge.

The work that has been put into this piece is evident. The way you've 'shaped' the narrative is impressive [;)] and the statements after the practising ignorant jokes bit really are thought-inspiring. The coexistence of two diametric opposites is beautifully captured in your words, just like the simplest thing seems most difficult!
In the end, I couldn't help but think - wouldn't appreciating one's ignorance make them less ignorant? Because to appreciate it you would have to acknowledge its existence and to acknowledge the existence of ignorance would mean to stop being ignorant, in a way. I don't know, even I'm a bit confused with this now that I write this. Would like to know how you see it!

The poetry is mathematical, based on potty humor, it says everything and nothing, with each line preferably being a commonly used phrase or even music lyrics. Even the shapes are mathematical, and related to the mathematics, showing up in every poem no matter what language it is written in. They express fuzzy logic and Taoists say, "The humor of the toddler is the hardest to master", because you are the toddler dummy! Believe it or not, my poems describe the boundary between classical mechanics and quantum physics, because they say everything and nothing.

A toddler's humour might be hardest to master, but it can't really be called ignorant, though, can it? But I'm quite amazed at your approach to writing poems. Fuzzy logic applied in such a manner is a first for me, and I'm glad I found my way to this piece!

Fuzzy logic is the inverse of classical logic, and their combination produces metaphoric logic, or the same Bullshit Logic or Cartoon Logic every toddler relies upon. Combining them requires four root metaphors expressed as the emotional-logic of Intuitionistic mathematics, which have much more firm foundations than classical mathematics, and physicists sometimes write these same poems.

Hahahaha, the logic and bullshit comment cracked me up! I know about Fuzzy logic, but boy, it's so nice to see it written in this form. I haven't read poems or stories or essays of this kind before, so this form of writing is new to me, and damn exciting. :D
