Photons Sparkle Like Immortal Ugly Ducklings

In their own weird quantum mechanical fashion.

They are the eternal light that never dies,

Maybe because they were never alive!

Not in Einstein's universe anyway,

Not in any universe, like this one,

Not anywhere that makes sense,

Being random energy as far as,

Any physicists can figure out!

All being, perfectly identical,

All taking after their mama!

To a single photon or many,

Everything looks the same!

The whole universe can be,

Undetectable, nonexistent,

Bereft any known identity,

Nowhere, on anyone's map,

Void, Zilch, Zero, Zip, Nada!

Entirely without properties!

Never, showing up on radar!

No, apparent characteristics,

Not even one decent vacuum!

Nothing to write home about!

No such number no such zone!

Nobody home, but us chickens!

Or whatever they happen to be,

Whatever you might label them,

Schroedinger's private alley cats,

Maybe God's way of passing gas!

Memories of whatever never was,

Or poking fun at sillier physicists,

Whole Galaxies, meaning nothing!

All they ever get is a dumb T-shirt!

Never see, a quasar or a supernova!

All of space-time, a dot on the map,

As if the universe had never existed!

The big bang, always disappointing!

The heat death not noticeably worse!

Energy, a meaningless technical term,

Matter is a matter of personal beliefs!

Neutron stars, they tend be neutral on,

Mass a simple Monty Carlo shell game,

Information, is unavailable at this time!

Your Internet connection is disconnected!

The lights on may just be confusing people!

Whenever, moving from point A to B its we,

Who never do exist, for all practical purposes!

The shadow yet the memory of the eternal light,

Yin-yang dynamics,

Paradox of existence,

Instant karma, getcha,

Merely more metaphors,

For what's indescribable!

No dictionary definitions,

Beyond, any measurement!

Open to wilder speculation!

More metaphorical, bullshit,

Confused with all mysticism,

Mathematical normalization,

Jokes that make people groan!

Crazy quilt, pattern matching!

Yin-yangy, push-me-pull-you dynamics,

Fuzzy relativistic time dilation,

Big and small, relative concepts!

Infinite, paradoxical parameters,

To see a world, in a grain of sand,

And, a heaven in a wildflower,

Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,

And eternity in an hour.

No matter how you want to put it,

Black holes will suck up anything,

Because gravity really does suck!

But the light doesn't give a s**t,

Because it never, ever, even can,

See any s**t about to hit the fan!

Sort of, Vaudeville stage or theater,

Sort of lowbrow pie in our face humor,

Some are reminiscent of classic Vaudeville,

Some resemble, the classic I Love Lucy shows,

Some resembling, Pinkie and the brain cartoons,

Sometimes evoking Pea Wee Herman's playhouse.

Neither Thither, nor Yonder, nor Twixt in between,

I really wanted to write this poem for awhile now,

But, I never actually saw anything like it coming!

Nor evidently did me, and myself, see it either,

Not to mention, several bazillion photons!

Sometimes the punch lines just catch up with us.

Or do we mortals finally catch up to ourselves?

Does anybody, really know, what time it is?

That's what going down the rabbit hole,

Of gravity is all about boys and girls.

I am the Wu Li Master of both space and time!

Here to blow a few gaskets, and fry some brains!

Welcome to my planet earth!

This is our infinite singularity!

That which is beyond conception,

What's defied, even modern science!

Driven the religious and mystics nuts!

Also known as, quantum indeterminacy!

Which some refer to as a mystical comedy!

Fuzzier Indeterminate Contextual Bullshit!

Which has defied every single explanation!

Mama loves wacky games of peek-a-boo,

Welcome home ya'll, nice to meet you!

Or waz ya?

Who, am I?

When, am I?

Where, am I?

And, what the hell am I doing here!!!

Who is this and who do I complain to?

Is anybody really in charge around here?

Is anybody here actually the happy idiot?

Did, someone get the license plate number?

Did somebody witness anymore witnesses?

Did somebody actually remember anything?

Did, someone take better cellphone pictures?

Where are the other complaint departments?

Anybody know, how in hell I ended up here?

Just where in the hell that might be exactly?

You could call it our Fuzzier Indeterminacy!

The kind which even always blows Frank Zappa's mind!

And makes everyone do at least a double or triple take!

High definition in multiple positions and dimensions!

Virtual reality always becoming virtually more real!

Or whatever in multiple positions and dimensions!

Where lime Jello holds the secret to the universe!

Wiggly jiggly, delightfully sweetest, sweetness!

Relish and meditate upon our Sublime Jell-O!

Seek divine, emerald green inner vibrations!

Chromodynamics are merely pretty things!

Know what I mean, all you jelly beans?

Learning to be still while still jiggling!

You have to understand the more relativistic horizon effects!

Meaning sometimes the crap, appears to follow you around,

When one quarter of life sometimes looks two dimensional,

Metamorphosing similar to Pee Wee Herman's playhouse!

Or some of the more popular Saturday morning cartoons,

Or any left-overs you forgot about, in your refrigerator,

The vacuous expression of toddlers pooping in diapers.

Drooling idiots barely capable of shuffling their feet!

Below the infinite horizon, lies the memory of God,

Deepest of philosophical wells of toddler poo-poo.

Beyond the merely mortal human comprehension,

Beyond the calculations of quantum computers,

Causing physicists to all babble like madmen!

Cunning linguists to debate semantic styles!

Currently being taught in every university!

Its everything you ever wanted to know!

Everything that can possibly be known!

And much, much, more about nothing!

In courses like quantum physics 101!

42, assuming, there's any observers!

101 when half the class shows up!

Uncertainty, is upon our arrival!

The time has come the walrus said,

To speak of many things,

The many things yet require three,

And one of these is the All-in-Oneder,

Yin-yangy push-me-pull-you dynamics!

Organic networking systems logics!

Ugly Ducklings on a huge staircase!

Nothing, from nothing, ain't nothing,

Ya gotta have something if you dance,

Nothing from nothing, becomes special,

Like a stupid disco ball, if you're drunk!

Bad puns and really horrible punch lines,

Fuzzier contextual metaethical weirdness,

Intuitionistic Fuzzy Wuzzy Indeterminate Bullshit!

Always has dubious value, or does it?

You never seem to know for sure, while,

Unconvinced its possible to be uncertain,

Me, myself, and I remember how to forget!

Whenever things begin to become confusing!

Then forget to remember how to forget, again!

Forgetting again what all wanted to remember,

Remembering what nobody desired to remember!

Then arguing about who started all this nonsense!

Forgetting to remember which one might be which!

Never quite sure sometimes if I am coming or going;

Never quite certain, which direction might be down,

Not to mention where in Sam hell I could be headed!

Not to mention if perhaps I'm merely going in circles!

Not to mention where in the hell I happen to be now!

Not to mention what the hell all this is leading up to!

Crazy brain damaged mentally deranged hippie dippy!

Trust me, the Mad Hatter, is the least of your worries!

When photons sparkle like immortal Ugly Ducklings!
