Up ThereA Poem by W.R. Siebert
I can just barely see you up there
Standing upon that mountaintop with a daisy resting in your hair. You look very out of place. but looks can be deceiving, for i did not notice that smile spread across your face. You took a seat atop a boulder on the edge of the cliff. extending your arm to catch the snowflakes on your fingertips. So caring and gentle to keep in tact a structure so beautifully created. Although the heat from your heart has seen all the snowflakes you've ever come across melted and dissipated. So lonely it must be all the way up there. Sitting in solitary with just the cold, frigid air. Nothing in your life but the moon to your side. It wasn't until i reached that mountaintop myself, that i can see in your eyes the entire knowledge of the cold, frigid sky. FIN
