Burned, Once Again

Burned, Once Again

A Poem by W.R. Siebert

Her eyes burned like fire,
But i dared not to extinguish it.
As i stood, with a pale in hand,
She mouthed the words "trust me"
And as I spilled out the water,
She vanished,
Leaving behind only a pile of ash,
Soon to be blown away.

Very good W.R.
You leave us knowing your desire but also...
We're left wondering what this beautiful dream means,
She was meant to be enjoyed like a firecracker, once enjoyed, no more...
