Beautiful Nothing

Beautiful Nothing

A Poem by HughAnhaga

How do you get someone to see what you mean?

When you tell them of something they never have seen.

How can one person look at the world through their eyes

And not understand they only see a disguise

**In a godless world there’s no room for improvement,

**And no one believes they are not the finest.

**In a godless world there is no need to grow

**And no one has anywhere forward to go

**In a godless world there is nothing to gain

**stuffing your life with a shortage of pain

**In a godless world there is elevation

**No room for creation, relation, communication

People scold people for their values and actions

They accept no addition and only subtraction

But every person was a child, an infant so trusting,

Each one of them brimming with beautiful nothing

Free yourself from yourself, and you won’t become lost,

But be found amongst the masses of the paths you’ve crossed

That’s when you see how we all are the same

Filling our lives with the absence of shame

‘Cause filling your life with with agreeable views

Makes you empty your mind of what makes you, you.

HughAnhaga
trying to decide between the different options for the "in a godless world" stanza. Don't know about the title either. Open to any and all general comments as well. Thank you for reading.
