Enrapture

Enrapture

A Poem by Christina Kruchesky

Capture me within your peonage.
Become ubiquitous throughout my body.
Pull at the corners or my mouth,
Position my lips into a pleasantry in the form of a smile.
Lift me up so that i may surmount any hindrance that may slow me.
Illuminate my world,
Which has been so dark and desolate for so long.
The past,
Is obscure in comparison.
The future,
Is capricious as to where this will lead.
But even if it is only for the moment,
I am exhaustively yours.

Thank you. Good feedback is always welcome :)
The choice of words in this poem are sublime. The title perfect, it had me from the moment I read the first word until the very end.
