Introduction

            Isn’t there a saying about how answering ads from a newspaper can be dangerous? Well, if there isn’t, there bloody well should be! It would have saved me a lot of grief.

Being an aspiring writer I prefer that life�"like books�"have foreshadowing. I’m sure God is looking down and laughing at that statement, but that’s what I would have liked nonetheless. Ah, I regress from the topic at hand�"the ad in the newspaper.

Like any aspiring writer, much to my grief, I have to sustain myself with a job other than writing. Over my summer break I scoured job listing after job listing looking for anything well paying and interesting that would hire me. Eventually, I found one. The same one that I am writing this story about. Names haven’t been changed, since, well, there aren’t any innocents.

What ensues is my story.
