To Give Thanks

this is a very emotional poem depicting what it feels like to be hurt by the one you love

Thank you for ripping me apart at every seam

For making my midnight thoughts scream

Thank you for the days I often dread

And nights spent crying in my bed

Thank you for causing me to despise my reflection

And for your so called protection

Thank you for deceiving me with every chance

And never having acceptance

Thank you for all the times I stand in choked desolation

Yet i will always say this in admiration
