Fake

Fake

A Poem by Amanda Worthington

Fake smiles
fake laughs
fake conversations
fake faces
fake niceness
fake intelligence
fake politeness.
Fake.
Everywhere in school,
it's all fake.
I'm fake.
Because if I
were to be
me,
I
would
be
an

outcast.

The me
I wish to be,
can not be seen.
I must hide
to fit in.
I must I resort
to being fake.
I am a false image.
But It would
hurt me
to
be

Outcasted.

Eh, just a late night write. It's not my best but I thought I'd share it anyways. Opinions and comments are appreciated :)

Nice. I really appreciate your ability to pinpoint the exact truth in so few words.

Thank you :)
This is so true, though. Anyway, I liked it.

About
Why do I write? Because I want my opinions and my thoughts to be known. I want to make other people feel what I do. I love it when it's just me and my characters, late at night with no one to interrup.. more..
