Invisible

Invisible

A Poem by Amanda Worthington
"

I'm pretty sure we all get the feeling of soul crushing loneliness every once in a while

"
I am invisible.
If i disappeared,
I wouldn't be missed.
Nobody cares.
Nobody sees.
Nobody sees,
all the pain in my smile.
They all walk on by
while i sit alone.
How many think
to stop and chat?
How many see me?
Maybe now
i can walk through walls......

So i wrote this when i was feeling a little bit really bad about myself. I don't make many friends at school and i only sit with one at lunch. I am so very terribly lonely when she is gone. I sometimes wonder if people think we're lesbians because we don't hang out with anyone else......

A little too depressing. You have much more to give than that. It is great to have friends but as you get older you will realize that you first have to be happy with yourself.... then you share that person with others. Other people don't make you.... you do. Cheer up, I see a bright future ahead for you.

About
Why do I write? Because I want my opinions and my thoughts to be known. I want to make other people feel what I do. I love it when it's just me and my characters, late at night with no one to interrup.. more..
