They Know

They Know

A Poem by Amanda Worthington

They stare.
They see.
they know.
I am not them.
They see me.
It puts me out
of place here.
They know.
They try to smile,
to be polite.
But don't push
what was never there.
They know.
I know.
Don't remind me.
Please.
I see.
I know.
You remind me
of why i don't fit it.

Tell me what you think. Talk to me. I can't better my writing if you never tell me what you don't like or what you think is wrong with it.

About
Why do I write? Because I want my opinions and my thoughts to be known. I want to make other people feel what I do. I love it when it's just me and my characters, late at night with no one to interrup.. more..
