What more do i need

What more do i need

A Poem by Amanda Worthington
"

a simple poem i wrote.

"

I will not take gold in exchange for friends

and i will not be told the friendship ever ends.

Silver doesn’t matter compared to family

as long as the latter

only loves and supports me.

Diamonds and pearls are nice,

but compared to my pets

there isn’t a price

i would pay without regrets.

I’m happy with what i have.

I have what i need.

What more do i need

than what i have?
