Echoes

Echoes

A Poem by Michael J. Richards

With silence that echoes
and quiet that rings,
with sadness and longings
and those sorts of things,

comes pond'rings and
wond'rings and
thoughts in my ear;
But only if I sit still and
listen, and hear.
