Our Love

A poem of love and a couples struggle to keep it alive

She is my admirer and I am hers

And each day the more we both learn

More of each other and more of our past

And the future is coming, coming very fast

We sometimes feel that we are growing apart

A lot of times we wish we could go back to the start

A time of happiness with out any worry

We learned how to handle it, just like a team

We also learned it wasn’t as it seemed

We watched the fires along the ride

Even if the fires weren’t even there

It was the fire burning in our hearts, expressing our love

It was a flaming arrow, shot from cupid above

It is gone to a better place far beyond

We love each other as you can see

But its better now that our love is free
