Too much

Too much

A Poem by Sarah Buchanan

Too many thoughts

Running through my head

Too much emotion

Running through my veins

Life hits at once,

Leaving you breathless,

And alone,

The walls close in,

The attack begins,

The air is gone,

Left with nothing again,

Becoming numb,

My safe hiding,

My place

My temple,

Heart stops beating,

Silence fills the room,

Nothing can save me,

Nothing can stop it

Too many thoughts

Running through my head

Too much emotion

Running through my veins.
