Judgement

Judgement

A Poem by Sarah Buchanan

You judge me for my beliefs, but what about your own hypocrisy.  Is it really so wrong to believe magick happens?  So I pray with spells, how is that any different than you?

I feel so alone sometimes, but then I remember the Goddess and God are watching over me.  I walk in nature and see them in every plant and creature.  It is the beauty of their creation that I worship and love, and care for, not those who wrongfully judge me.

I walk the streets and wonder about the judgements that have been cast upon me.  I wear a pentacle rather than a cross.  How does that make me evil?  How does that damn me to hell?

I feel so alone sometimes, but then I remember the Goddess and God are watching over me.  I walk in nature and see them in every plant and creature.  It is the beauty of their creation that I worship and love, and care for, not those who wrongfully judge me.

Judgements cast upon me again as I try not to judge those who cast it.  Those who worship a loving God, but don't know how to love.  You have someone telling you what to believe.  I just believe.

I feel so alone sometimes, but then I remember the Goddess and God are watching over me.  I walk in nature and see them in every plant and creature.  It is the beauty of their creation that I worship and love, and care for, not those who wrongfully judge me.

I just believe.
