*UntitledA Poem by Sarah BuchananNo title for it as of yet. Just wrote it a few seconds ago and felt the need to share. First one I've written in a good while. So it might be a little rough.
White Flames from the sky,
Turn yellow in blistering fright, Burnt beyond belief Every child weeps Every breath is a crime None should breathe According to some Those who are "Holy" Take the life of a child No guilt Only Pride For they control The Holy Land Extermination Is but a dream To those at war Fight over land That is "rightfully" theirs. Indoctrination Of the world That they are the victims And not the perpetrators Yet not all believe Their attempt to deceive. Hope Remains Among those for Peace Against the Zionist Regime White Flames from the sky Turn yellow in a blistering fright Burnt beyond belief Who will hear their cries? Who will let them breathe? © 2014 Sarah Buchanan |
