From joy and love to struggle and disillusionment and the struggle to return to life.

Restoration

She once had a happy heart
Lilting
Singing
Bubbling
Joyfully lifting
Holding her high.

Then is was broken.

She once had smiling eyes
Sparkling
Shining
Loving
Opening wide
To the world.

Then tears came.

She once had a hopeful life
Accepting
Exploring
Reaching
Exciting days
Filled with worth.

Then it stopped.

She was battered and torn
Discouraged
Disillusioned
Bruised
Almost destroyed
Beyond all hope.

Life changed everything.

Her restoration begins
Heart
Eyes
Life
A spark
Still within her

When will she return?
