Fading away

sweet memories of losing a love one slowly, that is fading from my sight.

(Write from my journal)

Words clutter in my mind at times 

they come and tempt my heart,

then comes the visions in my eyes 

they taint my soul.

Hard times fall like a quarter 

these days, and right down what 

feels like a wishing well.

Too much on the mind lays as clutter 

at my feet.

How do I feel anymore just 

rumbles through my soul.

I just don't know what to do 

or what to think. 

When you see a part of 

your life is fading away from 

view. How do I get through this 

trail of emptiness inside without 

it leaves its mark behind me.

I know life goes on, but how 

do I get through broken hearts 

and an emptiness feeling?

I know I will pick up the pieces

and carry on but how do I get 

this heartache of losing all that 

I love? 

I guess only time will tell.

Watching my Mom die is so devastating. I am heart broken. She always told me writing can heal a broken heart and soul. So I am trying my best, but the tears are so heart breaking. They say life is bitter sweet, but so what is dying? It's not so bitter sweet, when you love someone...

Death is the most bitter, cruel part of life, the wound is deep, and you will grieve the rest of your life, I wish I could say there was an easier way but there isn't, time will help to heal, but the pain will always be there, it just gets a little easier to carry the burden as time goes by. I am sorry for the storm you are going through, know that you are not alone in your isolation and winter of the soul.
