loss of words

I am at a loss at words 

over her illness 

I can hardly speak 

so I just mumble out loud. 

I just sit in stillness 

of a fainting clock sound 

it's the loneliness that 

kind of hangs around. 

I am at a loss of words

that I can't speak from 

but it will lead me back home 

where I don't feel so alone.
