Again

It started last week

Probably on a Monday

But who knows

I saw you again

I can't remember how it happened

This wasn't the first time I saw you

You were always the nicer one

With you it's a perfect combination

A combination of fun and love

You're a little reserved

But there's always magic around you

You don't know I've been struck by your sweet touch. But I do.

I think of the last two months

So much was wasted

He never was you

Couldn't be you

All he did was stare at me

He never was easy to talk too

He was only mysterious

Not fun like you

You always smile big and laugh

He never did

I thought things were over between us

That's why I left

To feel the hole in my heart

I thought I was over you 

But I guess I never was

Now I've seen myself fall for you over again

Because you are the better one

For myself

You are the one who has this perfect combination

I know the past is the past.

I understand I needed to met him to realize you're the one I want.

That what I gave up was wrong.

For me and you.

But I know the past is the past.

And here we are in this place again 

Here I am

Walking beside you again

My heart smiles again

Just last week I was wishing for this again

I'm in it all over again.

I see flashes of all the good times.

I'm ready for this. 

Ready to live in the moment with you.

I'm in for the ride of my life.

I'm in this all over again.

This was inspired by what happened with him today and I was inspired by the song Begin Again" the Cover with Megan Nicole, Alex Goot, and The Piano Guys. Thank you hope you enjoyed this poem

Haha when I read the first stanza it reminded me of a Taylor Swift song..:P Oh oops, haha you said it was inspired by Begin Again..haha well at least that's what I thought of! :)
I liked the repetitiveness of 'over again' throughout the last couple stanzas.
I generally liked the whole poem! I hope you and J work it out! :)
