Pink and Red . . .

Those are the colors we see each year

When I look at you

All  I want to do is be with you

To go back to September

I miss the days 

Where you looked at me and I looked at you

All I want is to seize this burning desire I have 

That involves you

Pink and Red . . .

In grade school we were taught those were the colors of our heart

When I am around you 

It's brighter than the sun and stars

It beats faster than a drummer could handle

On this day

I wish you could notice me

And see everything about me

On this one special day

I wish you could hand me a small piece of your heart

I would take care of it

Love it

Keep it forever
