I wonder what thoughts are running through your mind

Do you realize those four words; ended everything between me and you.

I still think of you.

I wonder if you know we'll never talk again. 

I don't know if I'll ever be someone you'll miss.

I never thought it would end so quick.

I loved your smile. 

I loved your facial expressions.

I loved every time you laughed you smiled my favorite smile.

Now every time I'll see you

I wonder if you still think about me. 

Or even miss me. 

I still want you to notice me, as I walk away from this. 

Now I'll go on with my life.

Looking back to wonder if you'll even miss this.

Years from now

I'll remember your face

Maybe even speak you're name. 

Will I remember everything about you?

Your face? 

Every detail?

Will I remember that smile?

The way your lips somehow made a heart

All of the memories may come back. 

I wonder if I'll remember our inside joke. 

I'll know I'll miss you and wonder how you are.

I'll even hope it's nice wherever you are. 

As I cover the damage up. 

It will seem as if I've moved on easily. 

But inside it isn't easy.

I was inspired by own experience and the songs "Last Kiss" by Taylor Swift, and "Everytime" by Britney Spears.

It's so easy to walk around with a fake smile and a happy voice, when on the inside you're screaming and crying, begging and pleading, asking,"Why? Was I just not good enough?" And it hurts so much, but when people ask if you're all right, you have to say, "I'm fine," and put up your walls so no one can tell.

don't know those songs, but the poetry is fine....It is strange how finishing a relationship can effect you.....Life is a long song, and sometimes the tune gets distorted over the years. That uncertain feeling mellows with age, but those intimate secrets never really leave you
