Kiera:Jake's Smashin' Bash Jessie:Your throwing a fight? Jake:No, it's a party. Everyone:Eh... Jake:Aw c'mon we've graduated from college! What better way to celebrate? And kick off the summer? Everyone:Sleep Jake:Guys we can sleep when we're all old and gray. Chandler:Which might come a lot sooner than we hope Jake rolls his eyes Jake:Look it's up in the Hampton's my dad has a sweet house. It's got a nice view, indoor pool.Plently of rooms. Everyone:Eh.. Jake:I'll pay for gas Everyone: Yeah I'm in Dark-haired girl: Ow! Chandler: Well at least we know whose not being beat up. Jake:Ron, what are you...What are you doing here? Veronica: I live here. Veronica: -nods- My parents went to Europe. Your dad said I could stay here Veronica: Do you know is Jake is single? Amanda:Uh yeah. He's single. Jake:Mandy? Amanda looks up, half-startled Amanda:Oh.Hey Jake. Jake smiles Jake:Thanks for helping Veronica Amanda is staring outside again. Amanda:Oh yeah no problem. Jake:You OK? Amanda: Yeah. Yeah. I'm fine. Scene 1: Everyone is still at The Hamptons Everyone is dressed in beach type clothes. The girl's are inside the house The men are outside Jake: Chandler! Up a little higher! Chandler moves the banner a little higher on the house. Chandler: Like that! Jake:Yeah. Perfect. Andrew: Wait! It's a little crooked. Tug on it a little. Chandler gently tugs it. He looks back and Jake and Andrew give him a thumbs up. Chandler nods and proceeds to climb down then falls off the ladder he was. Jake and Andrew run to him Andrew:Dude you alright? Chandler:Yeah yeah I'm.. *Chandler pauses for a moment. Looks at his hands and the sky* Why do I hear chickens? Andrew sighs then looks at Jake Andrew: We better get him inside. They walk inside to the living room. The girls are watching TV. Kiera in a bad Irish accent Kiera waves her arms Kiera: Don't talk to me like that! Jessie: Silence! I kill you! Amanda notices the men walk in. Amanda gets up walking past Kiera and Jessie who are making fighting noises. Amanda: What happened? Jake: Chandler was hanging up the banner and he well... *Jake and Amanda look at Chandler and Andrew. Andrew sets aside for a second, and Chandler stumbles to the floor* ....fell. Amanda sighs and puts her hand on her hip Amanda: I told you not to let him hang up the banner. Chandler is regaining his balance by holding onto Andrew, and points at Amanda while he talks Chandler: Hey! I can do it! I'm a man. And it is a man's duty to hang up a banner. For a man's party. Amanda: Chandler how hard did you hit your head again? Chandler opens his mouth to speak then pauses Chandler: I hit my head Amanda looks at Jake Jake: We'll get him upstairs The men walk away. Amanda looks back at Kiera and Jessie. They are standing up and waving their hands Kiera: Push him off! Jessie: Push! Push! Amanda sits down on the couch. They all hear a car horn honk. Kiera and Jessie sit down by Amanda Kiera: I bet I know who that is. A few seconds later they hear a door open and heels clacking aganist the kitchen door. They see Veronica. Veronica is dressed very wealthy. Veronica in a happy voice Veronica: Hi girls! Amanda: Hi Kiera: Hello Jessie: Hi Kiera: Another shopping trip Veronica? Veronica: Yes. But this time I got a bathing suit. You know for party. It's red. Since red is my color. Veronica says it with a little smirk. Kiera: Yeah I bet Daddy's credit card company would agree with ya on that. Veronica pretends not to hear Kiera's comment Veronica: Well see you all later. Veronica walks upstairs Kiera stands up Jessie: Kiera that was kinda mean... Kiera: Yeah well I'm not exactly nice either. Jessie: She's not that bad. It's only been a week. Kiera: Yes and in this week she's managed to tick me off more than once. Amanda: I don't think she's that bad. Kiera: Mandy. Are you seriously okay being friends with that girl. The same one who wants to make a move on Jake? C'mon now. Amanda stands up Amanda: I dunno. I'm...going with the flow like you said too. Kiera: Mandy. There's going with the flow and then there's standing around and doing nothing. You have to do something. If you really like Jake do something. Amanda fidgets with her hands and hestiantly looks at Kiera and Jessie. Amanda: I dunno.... Scene 2 Andrew,Jake and Chandler are in Chandler's bedroom. Andrew hands Chandler some ice Chandler puts the ice to his forehead. Jake: Chandler not so- Chandler: Ow! Ow! For the beauty of the earth! Ow! Jake: Fast Andrew: Relax man. Andrew looks at Chandler's head Andrew: I think you'll be alright. Your not bleeding or anything. Probably just need a day to rest. Chandler sighs. Jake leans aganist the dresser drawer Chandler keeps the ice to his head Andrew: Hey Jake Jake: Yo Andrew: Do you know if Veronica is single? Jake thinks about this Jake: No I don't actually Andrew: Oh. Well. Can you ask her. Jake: Yeah sure. Andrew: Thanks. Jake: Sure. Chandler: Drew, I thought you were into Jessie. Andrew: I am. But..Veronica's hot. Chandler: Drew, you've been pinning over Jessie since college make a move already. Andrew: It's complicated alright. Leave it alone Chandler. Bother Jake, he still hasn't told Amanda that he likes her. Chandler looks at Andrew then Jake Chandler: Dude! Why? Chandler hits himself with the ice Chandler: Ow! Jake: Chandler I think it's time for you to take a nap. Drew, let's go and find something to do. Jake pulls Drew and leave Chandler's room. Chandler: Aw nuts! Scene 3: Jake and Andrew enter the kitchen Jessie is in the living room Jake: Okay we have enough food and drinks.. Jake claps his hands together and he looks at Andrew Jake: Drew we're done! Andrew (smiles) Great! Now what do we do? Jake: (shrugs) Well we could go down to my Father's entertainment room or the Game Room Andrew: (makes a shocked face) You...you have a game room? Jake: Yes. I thought you knew. Andrew: (says in a exaggerate voice) Oh right. This is the face of a person who knows! Jake: (makes movement with his hands) C'mon, let's go. Jake and Andrew leave. Chandler comes downstairs with the ice still on his head. Jessie is on the couch of the living room she looks up Jessie: (in her southern accent) Hey there Chandler. Feeling better? Chandler walks over to her. Chandler: Not even a little. But I'm a man I can deal with it. Jessie: Chandler is there something you wanna talk about? Chandler: Like what? Jessie: Like how you keep saying "I'm a man" Are you feeling threatened? Chandler: No...maybe. Chandler sits on the couch by her Chandler: No one really thinks I can do anything, and...my gosh this couch is very comfortable. Chandler bounces on it a little and Jessie: I think it's made of leather. Chandler: Leather...wow. Jake's rich. Jake walks by heading towards the ktichen Jake: I'm not rich. My family's rich. Chandler: Dude! Leather couch! Leather couch! Jake pulls some soda's from the refridgerators Jake: I know it is nice. You should've seen the house I grew up in. Chandler: What is it bigger than this? Jake: A LOT bigger than this. Chandler: Oh my...(holds his hand to chest) Chandler breathes in and out Scene 4: Amanda and Kiera are in their bedroom. Kiera is laying on her sleeping bag. Amanda is sitting on her bed. Amanda: Kiera Kiera: Yes? Amanda: Why did you bring a sleeping bag? Kiera: We've been here a week and now you ask me? Amanda: (shrugs) Kiera: I don't like sleeping in other people's beds. I like my own, and well I grew up camping. I'm good with sleeping in a sleeping bag. Amanda: Okay. Whatever floats your boat. Silence Kiera: Just tell him you like him Amanda: (gets off the bed) Can we please stop talking about it? Kiera: What's the problem? He likes you, and you said you like him. Amanda: (in a loud almost shouting voice) I'm not sure! Kiera: (mouth drops a little and just stares for a second) What? Amanda: I still have feelings for Dylan okay? And..Kiera I just met you all a year ago. I'm still getting to know everyone and I don't wanna rush into something I'm not even sure about. Kiera: Are you that scared? Amanda: Yes. Now stop judging me. Gosh. Kiera: Okay. You do what you want. I'm sorry for pressuring you. Amanda: It's okay. Amanda and Kiera smile at each other then they hug it out. They hear a door open and see Jessie roll out. Amanda: Jessie? Kiera: What the heck!? Jessie: Sorry I've just been exploring this house and I got to you too and well I couldn't help but over hear, and I saw the hug so I wanted to come out but I also wanted to scare you. I'm not very good at scaring..but anyways group hug? Amanda laughs Kiera: Jessie, you are such a freak. But get over here! All of three of them hug. Scene 5: Jake and Andrew are underground in the Game Room. They are playing foosball Andrew: Dude this is sweet an Underground Game Room. Jake: Yup it is pretty sweet. Andrew: So party tonight Jake: Yup. Andrew: Gonna talk to Amanda? Jake: (shrugs) Yeah I'm sure we'll talk. We're friends. Jake scores into the goal. Andrew: You know what I mean. Jake: I dunno. If it comes up I will. Andrew scores. Andrew: Can you talk to Veronica? See if she's single and what she thinks about me. Jake: Sure. Andrew: Thanks. Jake: Can you do the same for me? Andrew: I thought you liked Amanda. Jake: That's what I mean. Andrew: Oh. Oh. Ok. Kiera and Amanda are making potato salad Jessie is reading from the cooking book Jessie: Okay now what's that word? (Jessie points to a word in the book for Kiera) Kiera: (she looks then looks back at Jessie) Jessie..that's teaspoon. Jessie: Oh. Well do some of that then. Veronica comes down Veronica: You girls need help with anything? Kiera: (in a snappy attitude) We're fine Amanda stirs a bowl, not looking near Veronica. Veronica walks outside. Jessie: Kiera Kiera: Jessie. Don't. Later that night.. Andrew: Dude it is packed! Jake: I know! I didn't think so many people would come. Chandler: Guys. I think our whole class is here. Music blared from every corner A group was shouting "Drink! Drink! Drink!" As they all drunk there sodas. Andrew: What's up with them? Chandler (holding a soda while pointing at them) I was over there earlier and they're disappointed there's no beer so they figured if they drink soda the same way they drink beer. They'll get the same effect. Jake and Andrew laugh Jake: Is it working? Chandler: Not one bit. But they believe it will. Eventually. Jake looked over by the pool. Many people were hanging out in there. Kiera and Jessie appear Kiera: Jake the party is going so well! My potato salad is gone! Jessie: In a Kiera's world that's a big success. Jake: Well glad to hear it. Ladies enjoy your evening. Oh wait have you see Veronica? Kiera: (in a mocking voice) Getting her swim on in the pool... Jake: (looks confusing at her) O...kay... Jake walks towards the pool. Andrew: Kiera! Where's Mandy? Kiera: Mandy's in the Underground Game Room. Andrew: Awesome. See ya. Kiera: Jessie let's go scan out some guys. Jessie: Okay! Scene 6: Jake enters the pool and finds Veronica drying her hair. Jake: Hey Veronica Veronica: Hey Jake: (notices her bathing suit then focus' on her) Can I talk to you for a second? Veronica: Yeah sure. Jake and Veronica walk upstairs into a room Jake: Having fun? Veronica: Of course. College party. Jake: (laughs) Glad your enjoying it. I wanted to ask if you're single. Veronica: (smiles) I am Jake: Great. Great. Veronica: (moves closer to Jake) You know I always hoped it would happen. That you'd ask me and I'd say yes. Now it is. Jake aganist the wall and Veronica is close to him Jake: Veronica I- Veronica: I like you. I always have. I really like you. Your single. I'm single. It's perfect. Veronica leans closer to him Jake: You know we should- Veronica kisses him. Jake pulls away. Jake: I'm gonna get some potato salad. Want some? *** Andrew finds Amanda playing ping-pong with a group of kids. Andrew: (waves Amanda over to him) Mandy! Mandy! Amanda sees him and walks over. Amanda: Hey! Wanna play a game? Andrew: Sure They move over to the ping pong table. Andrew: Hey Mandy do you like anyone right now? Amanda: Nope. Why? Andrew: Just wondering. I thought maybe you had a thing for Chandler or Jake. Amanda: (looks up) Chandler? Andrew: Or Jake Amanda: (looks back down) Nope I'm not into Chandler. Andrew: Or Jake? Amanda: (scores) Beat you! A group of kids: Dance! Dance! Dance! Amanda and Andrew see two boys having a dance off in the room. Amanda: Wow. They have some serious moves Andrew: Ah Bobby Westwood and Kaleb Johnson at it again. Amanda: That is so awesome. Andrew: Yeah. So do you like Jake? Amanda: I'm not gonna answer that. Andrew: C'mon you tell me. Amanda: I'm confused alright. Let's just drop it. Andrew: If you're just scared- Amanda: Alright I am scared, and I'm not sure who I like! There! Happy? Andrew: Hey Mandy, I'm sorry..I... (he reaches in his pocked) Twizzler? Amanda: No thanks. I know. I just..everyone's been asking me. I'm sorry for kinda yelling. Andrew: It's cool. Veronica and Jake are still in the room Veronica: No I'm good at the salad, what's wrong? Jake: Ron, I like you you're nice. But..I just...I'm not ready for a relationship. Veronica: Oh... Jake: Yeah. You should. You should get to know Andrew. He's nice. Kiera walks into the room Kiera looks from Veronica to Jake. Kiera:Veronica...Jake...what are you doing in my room? Jake: We were just talking Veronica: Yeah that's about as far it'll go. Kiera: Well I just came to invite to the Bon Fire that's coming down. Jake: Oh cool. You guys got the smores goin'? Kiera: Yes. There's also a special tonight. Veronica: What's it called? Kiera: Rich Girl Roasting On a Stick Veronica has an angry look on her face Jake: Hey let's go get the smore's! They all leave the room. Scene 7: Everyone is by the fire. Andrew and Amanda are sitting by each other talking with the other many people that are by them. Kiera,Veronica, and Jake enter. Kiera bringing supplies for the many other people who need them. Amanda: I'm gonna go find Jessie. Amanda leaves Kiera pulls Jake aside Kiera: Alright Richie Rich what do you think your doing? Jake: I thought I was making smores Kiera: (hits him on the shoulder) What were you doing up there with Veronica? Jake: Talking. Kiera: If I found out that it was more than just (she uses air quotes) talking. There will be heck to play. Jake: What's your problem Kiera? Kiera: My problem is that you don't seem to realize that Mandy likes you. I know you like her, and I go up stairs to my room and you were probably messing around with her. Jake: We weren't messing around. I was asking to see if she was single. Andrew wanted to know. Where's Mandy? Kiera: I don't know. Amanda walks into the house looking for Jessie. She goes to the front of the house to see if she can see anything and notices Jessie and Dylan talking. She walks over to them. Amanda: Hey Jessie: Hey Mandy! Dylan: Hi Amanda: Hi. What are you doing here? Jessie: Oh I invited him. Amanda: You did? Jessie: Yeah it's a party. More the merrier, right? Amanda:..Right. Jessie: Oh shoot. I left my smore at the bon fire. Jessie runs into the house. Amanda stares at Dylan. Amanda: Sorry. You were probably just asking her out. Dylan: Actually I wasn't. Dylan walks over to Amanda Dylan: I want you back. Amanda: (steps back) Whatever happened to 'I want better things. This is what's best.' Dylan: (shrugs) Can't you just take me back? Amanda: No I can't. I miss you. I do. But I..it wouldn't be right. Dylan: Right for who? Amanda: Me of course. Dylan's brown eyes looked into Amanda's blue ones. Dylan: It's not because of someone else? Amanda: (folds her arms) Where are you going with this Dylan? Dylan: Are you confused? About me? Or this other guy? About your feelings for me and him? Amanda: Whose the other guy? Dylan: I don't know. I just know there is. Amanda: How would you know. Dylan: I know you Mandy. Okay? We grew up together. We grew up in the same neighboorhood. We went to the same school. We dated all through High School and College. I know you. If we were in High School you would have taken me back. Amanda: This isn't High School! This is real life. This is the real world and so what? Maybe I've changed. Who cares if I like another guy? Dylan: I do. Amanda: Well it's too late. You threw me away. Amanda breathes heavily. She rubs her forehead Dylan: You're right. (Dylan sighs) No one ever said it was easy.
