Episode One: The Pizza Dilemma (Part 1)

A Stage Play by Aly

a friend has a job at a Pizza Parlor, a pizza dilemma occurs

"Guys! Guys! I got a job at the plaza!" Jessie runs in waving a paper.

"The Plaza? Ain't that he pizza parlor?" said Keira (in thick New York accent)

Jessie rolls her eyes "Well duh! What other plaza am I talkin' about?" places hand on her hip.

"The Plaza. That's that's nice," says Jake as he stands up "When do you start?"

"Tomorrow! Oh it's gonna be so great! I was watchin' earlier today, and the tips are great, free pizza! It's gonna be so much better than when I worked at Subway!"

"Great! Then we can visit ya tomorrow! We'll all come down," said Chandler

"Oh you guys don't have too!"

"No no we want too," said everyone.

Jessie smiles big "Well I start working around 4:15. How 'bout ya'll come at 6:00?"

"Great!" says everyone

"Great! We' I better go home. I'm gonna put my uniform on and decide the best way to greet everyone!" Jessie runs off

"The Plaza, I thought Jessie was working at Applebee's?" said Andrew

Chandler shook his head "Jessie has a new job every other week. Literally."

Andrew nodded to this, and waved the waitor over to him.

"I don't know how she does it. That would get tiring," said Keira

"It seems to float her boat. Literally," said Chandler.

They all nodded.

The Plaza

"Wow the Plaza..how...Plaza," said Chandler

"How can there be twenty-eight different salads? Good gosh, one of them has raisins." said Andrew

"These chairs are hurting my butt," said Kiera

"Shh! Guys here she comes!"

Jessie appears in her uniform, bright and happy,

Andrew tries to hold in his laughter

"Hi guys! What can I get you?"

Chandler whistles "You lookin' good Jessie"

Kiera elbows him, "Ow!" he mutters

"Jess, we'll take one large pizza with those red meat circles, and we all want Cokes, oh and bring some hot wings will ya?"

Jess smiles and runs off

Chandler turns to Kiera "You didn't have to do that you know. I was only being nice. "

"Guys, is it me or is this place to..orange?" said Amanda

"Cokes!" cheered Jessie

"Thanks Jess," said everyone.

"Oh no! Hide me!" says Amanda

Amanda goes under the table. Andrew looks down at her "Amanda. What are ya doin'?"

"My ex is here!"

"Here? Like eating?" says Kiera

"NO! He works here!"

"What's the big deal?" says Chandler

"The big deal is that he was my first!"

"First sexual partner?" says Chandler, Kiera hits his arm "Ow! You know you're really abusive!"

"First love moron," said Kiera "And you deserve to be hit"

"Amanda, get up, you look...people are gonna stare" said Andrew

"Kiera tell me where he is"

Kiera stares at a brown haired boy and watches him serve a couple then move away

"He just got done with a couple, now he's headed where Jess went to earlier"

Amanda gets up, and smooths her hair

"How long has it been Mandy?" says Kiera

Amanda sniffs "Five months"

"Okay this is riduclous," says Chandler

"Chandler!"

Chandler holds up hands in defense

"He was my first love. I met him when I was twelve, He's one year older then me. Football star. He liked to Garden...I just miss him!" Amanda makes a crying face

Kiera sympathezes with Amanda

"Look just go over their and tell the guy you want him back," says Chandler

"NO!"

"Well sorree for tryin' to help! But Mandy fate is nudging ya towards him!"

"Hey guys!" says Jess

Amanda screams, everyone stares "Sorry, I just got scared"

"O....kay....Hot Wings are here!"

"Thanks Jess," says Andrew

"Mandy, don't look now but...he's staring at you!" says Kiera

Amanda looks, he was. He just continued to until Amanda looked away.

Jess "Oh hey that's Dylan. He's a cutie."

"Yeah he is..."

Jess leaves.

"Mandy he's still staring. Go talk to him."

Amanda turns and he was.

She got up and walked over.

"Hey Dylan," she said.

"Mandy hey,"

"Is there somewhere we could go?"

He nodded and lead the way

"What do you thinks going on? Maybe we can go and listen?"Kiera stares at him. Chandler gets into defense and looks at Kiera "If ya hit me again I'll hit ya back sister!"

Kiera just glared at him

Oh man...this is worse, thought Chandler

"So that's it then?"

Dylan shrugged "Everything happens for a reason,"

"Okay,"

She stares to walk back in

"Mandy, I'm sorry."

"Save it Dylan,"

"Hey Mandy, everything. What are you doing?"

Everyone sees Mandy grabbing her things "Sorry guys but I just need to be alone."

Jess brings the pizza

"Pizza time! Dig in everybody! Oh and anything else I can bring?"

The door entrance to the Pizza Parlor slams

"Mandy ok?"

"Yeah yeah she's fine. Uh thanks Jess. We're all good."says Andrew

Hmmm quite the interesting intro. Comedy, drama & some good ole bit-picking between friends. I'm interested to read the rest of season one :)

Just a lil side note for next time (season 2...only cause I know hehe).
You may wanna try to keep your viewpoint the same during the episode.
eg: keeping it in first-person "he laughs, she says"; instead of third-person "he laughed, she said".

That way it'll flow more like a script and less like a novel :)
