GIFTED/THE GIFT

GIFTED/THE GIFT

A Poem by James Grizzly Jones

My mind is my temple my eyes are the windows it looks dark on the outside but inside is the in glow

I’ve been tested many times but now I’m moving up forced Upon me are visions and I felt I have seen enough

But the choice is not mine he knows I’m a writer and I stand For what I believe a warrior a fighter

I understand now to be gifted by messiah the cloth you were Cut from was made from blazing ice and fire

I used to look in the mirror admiring my reflection not knowing I was James the writer a disciple’s resurrection

My fears grow thin but they still grow where this gift will Take me only god will now

But I’m far from perfect when I bleed I grow where will this Gift take me only god will now

Temptation is a pool the only one in the desert but I will Walk that desert for 40 days never minding the enemy’s gesture

My mind is my temple my eyes are the windows the light shines on the outside and the reflection makes the in glow

seems a bit of a reflective nature of faith...the lines are hard to decipher in the language but I get a feel for what you are trying to say here...the first and end line...seems that is the focal point you want the read to convey...
