A Poem by James Grizzly Jones

Dark days and my eyes wide shut
Can’t   think   cause I’m   mad
Like a Vietnam vet
Tired of being disrespected
Walked on like a footstool
You gonna lose your hand
If   it’s in his pocket they tried to warn you
Don’t eye ball me boy you know I got a complex
I went to sexoholics anonymous cause I thought it was for people in love with alcohol but when I left my first session I had the worst case of blue balls
Walking down the street kid stepped on my shoes
Looked at me and laughed but only if he knew
The hardware I was packing
Would have sent him on his way through the clouds pass the stars first stop pearly gates
A man of many faces in a direction of many ways
I fly with fishes and swim with birds
My mind is lost on this hot winter day.
