A Special Prayer

A poem about a friend that got lost because of a relationship.

Tonight I say a special prayer for you because your are lost
Your soul is trap
Your heart is broken
Your eyes only see darkness
You have no sense of direction
You don't wish to smile because you might attract enemies

Tonight I say a special prayer for you because you are no longer by my side
You're surrounded by walls with people wearing uniforms
medication given when needed
what happen to the person with the essence of beauty?
I long to hear you call me with out you having the feeling that you are weak
Only the strong survive...do you have faith?

Tonight I say a special prayer for you because you need to realize God still lives
In the book of Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me"
Keep in mind nothing is possibly without the all mighty
You don't have to see him just believe he walks with you

Tonight I say a special prayer for you
At 25 you still have a life
I never understood why some people allow what is held in between someone's legs to take over their mental state
It was lust darling because love will not make you sacrifice yourself
I cry for you because I know life is hard but if you continue to loose trust you will never gain hope

Tonight I say a special prayer for you my friend because at 25 your life is not over
