Fool Me Twice!

Fool Me Twice!

Free Verse Verses # 1

"

Sometimes while straightening up,

I spot a lone AA battery

lying there wishing to be juiced;

craving to conjure energy,

lightofconnectedtouch-metaltometal.

Picking it up

I realize;

if the source of power is here

and out of the remote,

only a two year old

knows where to find

that old hand-held-device...

That, its' cover,

and the other battery.

Renee
I care for my two year old granddaughter, and my nine year old grandson, her big brother. They are great children but a two year old is discovering while growing, and she is fascinated with my TV remote control. She knows how to get the Disney Channel. LOL

Awwhh I found this poem ver very sweet. To me it showed the innocence and complications in a battery. In a child. I really loved it and the concept of a battery is very amazing and difficult thing to write about.

Merry Chistmas to you too!!
