hearts and sorrow

hearts and sorrow

A Poem by cassandra ziemba

i wish at night,
dream in the day.
but god knows,
there is no way.

they say the pain will fade,
that it will go away.
i give him a smile,
but he can't see the wound
he has made.

though i will see him tomorrow,
my heart fills with sorrow.
because deep down i know,
i've got to let him go.

This is so beautiful. It's simple but yet truly painful. I really enjoyed this(: xx

Unfortunately this happens in real life but wow the way you wrote it was so beautifully simple and tragic but in a beautiful way.
